Did we beat Sheffield Wednesday? I'm off down the bookies in a minute...
  • What are the Chinese's view on potential premiership matches being played over there? Would it take away from the attraction of the Chinese league?
  • [cite]Posted By: mart77[/cite]Lot of disappointing posts on this thread. Thought all the neanderthals were at Millwall.

Welcome to the site ZZ go go go.

    Do me a favour.

And I suppose when Erith Addick was around you wrote in words of one syllable so that he could understand, did you?

Be careful on that high horse, it's a long way to fall.

I just read some news about it, the Chinese Football association don't like the idea.

I think the fans in China love to watch Prem league in China, however, the Chinese football association scared it would "destroy" Chinese league.

Personally I think the 39th game is more about commercial.
  • Afternoon Dowman :-)
  • What a lot of you don't realise too is if you ask a chinese person if they know Zheng Zhi they look at you like you're mad! They pronounce it totally differently, it sounds more like Joong Jut. So they guy probably hasn't the foggiest we're singing for him anyway! I came unstuck asking people in Beijing just before Crimbo, but as soon as i typed his name into my phone on showed them they were knew him straight away! While I was there for the 4 days I saw quite a lot of Charlton clips on the tele mainly Zheng action but it was quite surreal walking into restaraunts in another country and seeing Charlton on the tele's around the walls!
  • I see everyone's registering email address when they apply to join, so i get a good indication from that whether they are on a wind up or not. We also get stats showing where people are viewing from and i know we are getting increased visitors from China on here.

Until someone makes it obvious they are on a wind up, can we give all visitors the benefit of the doubt please. otherwise it just leads to cynisism.

And if someone is pretending to be Chinese, its not exactly the funniest of wind ups, is it ?
  • Welcome the Red Army to the Red Army!

ZZ has been quality this season and has really come into his own. I'm so glad he is still with us as we would have missed him more than Reidy.

Welcome ZZ go go go. By the time you read this hopefully we will have had a good result at Sheffield.

In your opinion is ZZ the best chinese player? It took a while before Alan Pardew played ZZ as he thought he needed to adjust to the pace of the English football. He certainly has.
  • Happy New Year ZZ go go go! Welcome to the site.

    Good point AFKA.

Am I the only one thinking that Charlton are not exploiting us having ZZ enough. We could get over a billion new fans!!!
  • ......and would they all leave 5 minutes before the end to 'beat the traffic' ..... ? ;o)
  • I think ZZ is perhaps the best football player now in China, but not in history.

  • What is the time in Lodon now?it is 21:12in china,is it 13:12inlondon?
  • it is indeed
  • Thanks. We can continue our discussion...
  • If Charlton were in the Premiership and they were playing at the same time as say Man U and they were both on the TV, which would get the highest number of viewers?

Is the ZZ factor a stronger pull than Manchester United?

I doubt it, but whats the feeling of you?
