    I like the bit at the end where he mentions they have a striker about to come under a four match ban and maybe Pardew could return the favour and loan him someone , McLeod perhaps?

    i think its encouraging that pards is using his network of mates to come up with these players...the way i see it, if we're lucky we end up with a ge or two, or even at the low outlay have a chance to turn a profit by seing them on - i reckon dickson would command a price much higher than we've laid out, wages included - at worse, we pick up a player that doesn't make the grade and we cant sell on but at least we'll have got our network embedded further in the root and grass of football in our own back yard as well as overseas...
