W!nkers!

"Today's London Evening Standard
Championship Focus

Chief executives, don't you just love 'em! Charlton's Peter Varney blasted
the idea of Premier League clubs playing a 39th game abroad. "I don't favour
it - this is all about money", said Varney, who you may remember, was the
man who pulled the plug on the entire Charlton's women academy last summer
because it "was all about money". Madjid Bougherra and Ben Thatcher could
return to the Charlton squad. Sheffield United must get their heads up after
their unlucky FA Cup exit in midweek.
VERDICT: ADDICKS CASH IN"

    Ha ha ha.

Maybe we should have considered the thousands of fans that turned up week in week out for the Womens' team instead then...
  • Who the **** reads that triperag anyway? Nasty piece of middle-class trash. Their property pullout tells you all you need to know about their demographic - Sloane Rangers and suited ponces with delusions of grandeur.

I may be wrong, but I'm sure we've still got a women's team and academy - haven't we?

    Absolute garbage.
