Would you have Euell, Lisbie, Brian Hughes, Kish and JJ in this team, never thought I would say it but yes to all of them!!
Funny how low our standards have dropped!

    Yes to Lisbie no to the others.

    Lisbie can create things for himself which is invaluable in a striker. He also exposed Paddy in the game at The Valley.

    I'd love the commitment and energy of Kish but he is no longer as effective as he was and Pardew was right to let him go and I speak as a Kish fan.

    Kish no - can't even make the Leicester team

    Some others:
    Svensson I think I would have him back, could do a job in this League
    Mhyre - would also have him back. I like Weaver but he doesn't look confident when dealing with crosses. Mhyre commanded his 6 yard box and was just as good a shot stopper as Weaver
    Bartlett - like Svensson he could probably still do a job in this division if his fitness is still good

    Lisbie - No. Varney is better

    Brian Hughes - No. My Granny is better.

    Where is JJ these days, anyway?

    Think we actually have players now who on their day can be every bit as good as this lot (and definitely better than Bryan Hughes) - they just don't have the confidence to perform at their best and haven't gelled into a team. We are still missing a Kish-type player, though.

    Definitely would go for Lisbie.

    Always underated. Scored 12 goals so far this season in a relegation doomed side.
    That's more goals so far than any Charlton player.
