The Halifax and those traders telling stories

As an investor and customer of the Halifax if they find those traders guilty for making up lies about the company how easy would it be to sue them ?

    I think you can join the queue...

    This sort of market manipulation has been going on for years - start a short, spread a few rumours, sell and take the profit before anyone notices you done anything. On this occasion coupled with the collapse of Bear Stearns the rumours worked a bit too well. Hopefully the FSA will get tough and start handing out a few fines and bans and bring a bit more transparency into the market.
