"Chelsea players surrounded Riley after the incident in first-half stoppage-time at White Hart Lane and Cole turned his back on Riley before he was eventually shown a yellow card.

Blues boss Avram Grant added: "I didn't see it but the referee was very close and I saw everybody jump on him, including the Tottenham bench."


he's even worse than Arsene Wenger , it was in front of the bench where it happened wasn't it ? it's all very well Cashley apologising but what about the other Chelsea players behaviour towards Reilly ? John Terry should concentrate more on trying to jump higher than Berbatov cos that was some pretty shocking defending by him on wednesday

    Cole should have gone for the tackle, if he only got a yellow for that then he should have got another for his childish display.
    Yes, he should have shown some respect to the ref, however the ref could of earned lots of respect by senting if off for refusing to turn around.

    All in all from tackle to disrespect to the referee Cole should have had about 2 red cards. And Terry and his mob about another 5 yellows.

    And we and Middlesbro get frivolous. Apparently the FA are now going to crack down on this. Yeh my arse. Watch out Fulham the FA are on your case. Makes me mmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddddddddd.

    The funny thing is this bloke at my work is a chelski fan and reckons that they aint that bad for surrounding refs after a decision!!! He actually believes it isnt bad!! Twat!

    How he didnt get a red card for that shocking tackle i cant tell you, how he didnt go for the disobeidience (sp!) i also cant tell you!

    Shocking tackle, shocking surrounding of the ref, shocking reffing, shocking lies spouted from Grant (didnt see it, it was right ion front of you you c**t.

    God i tell you absolutely despise chelski, terry, cole, grant, kalou, mikel, carvalho, there fans. Mugs the lot of them, didnt see it, yeah righto avram you utter bellend.
