I'm absolute shite, but love it. Just completed my first 18 at Pedham Place in 127. Driving seems ok, putting not bad, but when it comes to the bits in between, I might as well try hitting the ball with a spoon.
So for pure comical value, I'm there if I'm not elswhere!

I'll take your word for it nss, I found it ok and to be fair I don't think it would have mattered what course I was on, the way I hit my iron shots. I went round Lullingstone's 9 hole a few times last summer and had the same problem, so it wasn't the greatest shock ever.
Going to take a trip up the driving range and due to play the 18 at Ruxley next, so I guess we'll see after that. But as much as I'd like to be better, the main purpose of the whole thing is to get out in the open air for the exercise and to socialise with friends and family. Something that's been sorely lacking since both I and now my son, hung up our football boots.
Count me in, as TCE says. But Im not the one that has been CUT from 25 to 17 over the last two society days out :) I do the cards and I am gonna play off 36 and wear a SKIRT lol
I'm in. I played yesterday with Grant Basey, Nicky Weaver, Andy Gray, Keith Peacock, Robert Elliot, Mark Kinsella and Mark Robson at Hever Castle. Those boys can play.

Basey won longest drive. Peacock nearest the pin. I was with Grant Basey. Really nice kid. Kinsella had me in stitches, very funny man. Overall the players beat the club staff. There was six 4 balls.

Did you play on the water maze or in the park. Was it hide and seek or British Bulldog?

I will be playing with 3 clubs (Driver, 7 iron, and putter) as it leaves more room in the bag for beers.
Dont tell me Ketman will be checking for beer, boooo!!
And there goes the longest drive competition..... :-(
And the longest clubs competition!
Perhaps we could have a nearest to the pin(t) competition?
