    So...Zheng Zhi has recovered from bird flu, and replaces Ambrose, but Gray obviously hasn't or has been dropped and Cook gets a start in place of Thomas.

    be interested to c how that midfield play, i've wanted that line up, well with ambrose/thomas/sam on left, from the start of the season, deff think its our strongest middle four

    So ZZ is OK but no Gray. The curse of Bromley Addicks strikes again.

    Cook starting as well. I'm guessing that ZZ will play wide with Semedo holding.

    Surprised that Magic is starting. I'd have him in preference to Paddy or Sodje but what do I know.

    And I was shopping in Bromley this morning and saw Neil Warnock doing a book signing in Waterstones.

    There's a lot of experience on the bench, and some good attacking options but I'm not sure that I'd start with Bougherra if he isn't match fit, this isn't the type of game that you'd want as your first game back after a few weeks out.

    Semedo and Holland have been in the same starting lineup on 8 previous occasions this season. Charlton wins in those games = 0.

    I think dropping Ambrose is a big mistake. However disappointing his general play can sometimes be, he is one of the only players likely to either score a goal or create a goal. He should be one of the first names on the teamsheet in the current situation.

    I agree, but at least ZZ is the one taking his place. If neither of them had been playing, we'd have no threat from midfield at all.
