Football loathes a vacuum

edited November 2006 in General Charlton
If I have one big problem about tonights breaking news, is that the club have allowed a rather nasty vacuum at the moment, and any little rumour can get legs and run.

Just wish they produced a statement tonight, and got the facts out in the open now, as the papers tomorrow can make up any reason they like.

Comments

  • i agree, but what if the 'facts' or what is to be perceived as the facts, have to be ironed out between the lawyers first ?
  • I don't know employment law, but the reasons for sacking someone should be pretty rigorous, and that the club should just say.

Kill the rumours which are already getting out, Hasslebaink this, Bungs that, Jordan said this blah blah blah.
  • I don't think even the press conference tomorrow will say much.
  • Murray will give it a few smiles... "Jimmy Floyd is glad to still be here after he was savaged by a raged Dowie during training yesterday, after he refused to run around the pitch, and as a result he will be made Player Manager".
