Also, I really hope Pards was watching because, if we beat QPR this weekend (which I don't think we will), Barnsley away is damned important and that was as good a lesson as any in how to beat them. They play pretty enough football but without too much going forward-defend from the front and snuff out the long haired guy in midfield and we'll be fine.
they did show a brief clip of viewing managers at this game, didn't notice pardew or parky there , would have thought we'd have had someone there checking the future oppo out, did anyone go from the backroom staff??
