Thought that ref last night was blinding and well worth a mention.

Best ref I've seen for ages.

    Thought he did a good job yeah, but there wasn't really anything contraversial to deal with. Not taking anything away though.

    the european refs are generally better because the players don't know them a lot of the time so know they can't take the piss like they do in the PL.

    For example if you take the penalty decisions in the 2 Arse v Scouse games - they were not as heavily as contested by the players as they would have been were it a league fixture.
