Salako was on last night drive time show (approx 6.20) beefing up Palace's play-off chances, saying what a nice guy Jordan is and how most football fans have a soft spot for the Palace, mainly because there is always something going on with them, and what great fans they have. He specifically mentioned how better the club is regarded in South London than Millwall or Charlton. One of the presenters, Mick Quinn (another idiot) agreed with him.

    Fecking twat. Never liked him when he was with us, you knew he was Palace through and through and was just getting a pay day with us.
    Oh, and Mick Quinn (I suppose you mean that fat bastard who used to play for Pompey?) is just soooooo well informed about SE London football, isn't he?
    Let's see shall we, Charlton - twelve seasons in the top-flight since 1986/87. Palace in the same period have been in the top flight for seven and have never lasted longer than a season in the Premiership.

    Well when Johny boy is next on the gantry in the East Stand for Sky sports maybe as he does his live reports we should let him know what Sarf East London thinks of him ! If he acts like he did on the pitch he will lock himself in the toilet for the remainder of the game and not come out !

    yeah i heard that and found myself shouting at the radio... when he said that palce capture the imagination of everyone unlike the other souh london clubs millwank and charlton and they are everyones 2nd team..

    Charlton have been every bodies 2nd team, loads of gooners and Palace are always seen as smug gits, the Spurs of the Championship, expectations beyond their abilities. I liked Salako, especially as he scored against palace, but maybe once a palarse always a palarse and maybe he does not appreciate that we dumped his brother

    when solako scored against palace for us in front of the away fans in the 'south stand' i thought he give it to them, didn't he??

    i don't wanna dislike him.
    apart from the palace goal, he saved us from losing to dagenham and redbridge.
    i got enough stick with a draw, i dread to think what a defeat would've brought.

    As AFKA said .....Talksport are paying him to say what they tell him to say.
    They just want him to be controversial and get people tuning in to their programme.

    It keeps their advertisers happy - and they pay big bucks to Talksport.
