Dirty, stinking club - rotten to the core.
Just almost had a punch up in the boozer after work with some tool who was defending Gold & Sullivan - he wouldn't have it that they were the scum of the Earth and thought I was out of order for saying so.
Lets look at the facts:
Both of them made their money from exploiting women for years (don't give me all this bollocks about it being a 'more enlightened sexual age' now - whilst that may well be true (I don't personally agree, but am willing to accept that we live in an era where the majority take a much more relaxed attitude to pornography) it certainly wasn't the case when they built their fortunes during the 60s, 70s & 80s.
Neither of them have **** all to do with Birmingham as a town, buying into the club when it was worth nothing and standing to make an absolutely immense profit now that football is at its peak in terms of popularity.
There continue to be, and have been in the past, serious allegations of financial impropriety at the club regarding transfers, agents' fees, bungs and tax fraud.
They choose to single out, publically, a player who has been either injured for much of the season or not picked by the new manager they employed in an attempt to divert blame for the club's failures away from themselves.
And Gold is on the telly straight after being abused by Birmingham supporters crying crocodile tears, wringing his hands and claiming fans don't understand that football is 'a business', all the while counting how much profit he will have made on his investment by selling his shares on, Sullivan waxes lyrical in the press about 'crap players', 'crap managers' and 'crap supporters' - basically, crap 'anyone' so long as its not him and the other porn baron being blamed.

Not with yours or anyone else's mate - that is one moody boat. She went from being pretty fit to an utter munter almost overnight.
More's to the point, are you an Iron? Or does your account pic have some similarly amusing 'lookeylikey-type-tale' attached to it?
They had a good manager in Bruce, but when they were looking to get out and make a few quid they wouldn't sort him out. He left and saved Wigan and they go down. Justice.
.
Sometimes you scare me Leroy!
;o)
They had the vision to put a vastly underperforming football club that had nothing but potential back on the map, turned a dilapidated stadium into a decent, modern venue, have backed every single manager they have had with a decent budget, and have stayed loyal to them over the years. Have also gone into relegation in a far more decent financial position than what we and every other club has, and have already stated they do not need to sell one player but will be looking to add. They have been there 15 years and could of looked for a decent return get out at any time, but only did when the fans started getting unrealistic and turning.
They also have had to cope with dogs abuse over the years, fans accounts of what happened sunday seemed awful.
And i find it a bit rich blokes complaining about people making money out of porn.
Very prepared to be shouted down !!
agree with the Guymiester.
Also shows that all that glitters is not gold (pun intended). Carsen Yung (sp) was not the great saviour that he was hailed to be and royally messed up their season by driving Bruce out.
Beware of Greeks (or any other nationality) bearing gifts.
As for the exploiting woman bit please - if they didn't want to do it they wouldn't.
And no one deserves the crap they took either.
That said, though, Birmingham fans must know they're a yo-yo club, and would have probably made the same choices Gold and Sullivan made. Plus they're mainly hairy, short-tempered, stupid arses.
In conclusion, they deserve each other.
I wish we had someone who was going to put that amount of wedge into Charlton and i could live with his money coming from porn mags and films and a newspaper that found Elvis and a bus on the moon.
Jees some people are extreemly morale on here
Good job she didn't get the job.
