I saw Tommy Burns play many times for Celtic and watched his Celtic side play when he was manager. A great man.

Just showed his funeral service on SSN. So many ex-players and managers there including Moyes, McGee, Dalglish etc. Walter Smith and Ally McCoist were pall bearers.

Was Pardew at Reading with Tommy Burns? He was caretaker before and took over afterwards but can't remember if he was Burns' Assistant or similar.
