Debt limits

There should be a limit on the debt football clubs can carry without penalty - ManU are paying £80M a year in interest!

  • Unless clubs are routinely allowed to go to the wall, the grounds bulldozed and a supermarket plonked on the plot nothing will change. I realise as a Charlton fan the irony of what i'm saying but this is becoming ridiculous. Platini has become a hate figure for many within English football but at least he continually highlights how crazy it is to let clubs live beyond their means and how it distorts both national and continental competition. The sad thing is there isn't a chance in hell of anything being done with so many snouts are in the trough of English footabll.
