parking tickets - time limit?

anyone know if there is a time limit for parking tickets like the 11 day rule for speeding tickets?

    think it's 30 days or the fine doubles ?

    its one of those postal ones.. using an approved device, hence am asking time limit for them sending it..

    Was it from a cctv camera? I believe those have received type approval as from a few months ago...
