Adam Pearson - the man that said Billy Davies job was safe and that he was the man to lead them back into the Prem if they got relegated (October 2007), sacked him 3 weeks later.
that is an illegal approach designed to unsettle the player whom knowing he'll get bigger wages at Pride Park will most likely throw a strop and Derby will eventually get their man. Absolutely disgraceful but it happens all the time. Swansea should report them to the FA immediately.
I'd imagine if Derby's chairmen has come out and said that then he's already been told by the players agent that the player will sign if a fee can be agreed.

[cite]Posted By: mart77[/cite]Derby should be strong next year and are also close to signing Rob Hulse.
Yes, Derby should be as strong this year, just like we were all on here last year thinking we were going to be strong as well!!!
This is a tough division and who would have seriously thought this time last year that Stoke and Hull would go up and that Charlton and Sheffield United would be nowhere?
