Where is the best place to advertise for staff

Ive tried advertising with these online companies to no avail, and the Newshopper, but get mainly people going through the motions on the dole......any ideas? Im looking for 1 Admin/shop sales person, and another for shop sales....fairly specialised, so I need somebody with some Savvy. Sevenoaks area.

i would of thought the best way would be through a known recruitment agency that covers the area you want to employ. On line stuff i think can be too vague sometimes.
Alternatively, make me an offer !!0 -

other than that, if its not a specialised industry the local paper is normally the best bet.....0 -

Always thought jobsite.com or monster were pretty good, I used to get a lot of calls from recruiters with my CV registered on those sites, or try Adecco or Reed in the Sevenoaks area.0

mate not sure if it would work round the 7oaks area but noticed up town adverts in phone boxes seem to be popular. Saw this one which may be revalant " Personal Assistant has good O levels ". Just athought.0

Thanks chaps. Tried monster and the majority of calls were from recruitment agencies, wanting extortionate amounts of money on top of the £400 it costs to register with Monster.0
