Mystery Cardiff signing...??

Might be irrelavant to most - but it's Friday and I'm bored.

Cardiff are apparently on the verge of signing a Premier League striker who 'got into double figures last season'.

Can't find a full table to try and guess who it could be.,

First to get the right answer wins a leek.

It says he got double figs in the EPL last season.

Kitson's a good shout but doubt he'd leave Reading for the Bluebirds??

It has to be him. Everyone else is either way out of their league, or signed for another team (Forrsell).
  • Yea it must be Kitson. That's a good signing if it comes off. They're apparently in negotiation with another EPL striker too (source: Western Mail). Looks like the FA Cup Final/Ramsey money is coming through.
  • So It's Not Marcus Bent then :-)
  • Reading are interested in Kitson, he won't be going to Cardiff i'm sure.
  • Maybe it's Rooney - Ferguson is so annoyed at his smoking he has sent him Cardiff for a season
  • Perhaps it means he reached double figs in all comps??

Says negotiations should be completed by next week.

    Chopra back from Sunderland?
  • Yea he's been linked. As well as Cameron Jerome. How many did he get?
  • Its Rooney or Gerrard LOCKED ON FACT ;-)
  • What about Zamora at the Hampsters ?

He's already at Reading or is this a different Kitson
  • lol, i meant fulham

    Nah his off to QPR
  • Could be Chopra and Kitson up front for Cardiff then....?
Can't quite believe it but stranger things have happened.
  • Could be Forsell, he has been released from what Ive read.
  • Forsell's joined a German side, hasn't he?
  • Bow to your better source of info, I just read somewhere a couple of weeks back that he hadnt re-signed....youre probably right
  • Dave Kitson's a decent quality striker, unlike many who've climbed through the league levels over the years, he's got a good first touch and impressive ball striking technique. He missed much of Reading's 2 Prem seasons with long term injury though.

Can understand him signing for Fulham but would be surprised if he settled for another Champs side.
  • Well, Ronaldo apparently still hasn't made up his mind yet .....
  • It must be 'Super' Kevin Lisbie
