Can we get the words typed up for Charlton songs and hand them out?

I understand this may sound like a bit of a pants idea but bear with me on this...

Songs like Goodbye Horse and stuff always used to make me chuckle as a child - largely because of it's utter randomness - but I haven't a clue what the actual words are.
This song originated in the heady days of us having attendances of 4 or 5k and the chances are some of those people are no longer fans or are maybe dead!

If we were to type up the songwords and maybe ask the club to hand it out in a program or something it might - just might - lead to a few more people singing at games because our home "fortress" was more like a library for much of the last few seasons.

Just my £0.02's worth

PS - I don't think we need to include the lyrics to Red Army...I think I've got that one down!!)

I don't think you need a song sheet for GBH either there's only three lines

Goodbye Horse the Fanzine did a "hynm" sheet once (yes the then editor spelt it wrong he he). I still have a copy somewhere.

what about the other verses to Red Army, when the first one gets tiresome?

    Cheese Sarnie

    Salami

    Oregami

    Punani

    etc
    (sorry feeble attempt)

My ex bird an Aussie, thought "Come on you reds" was "Lolly Legs.." oh dear.

Would be good if we sung all the verses to Valley Floyd Road

The club wants to save money, surely this must be cheap content for the programme and something the fans would appreciate.

I doubt very much that the club will be printing the words to Goodbye Horse

    Not exactly "PC"

    All things bright and beautiful,
    All creatures great and small,
Even those w****** from selhurst park,
The Lord God made them all.
