178 2day. The thing terminates one stop after Sun in Sands. It dont go to Kidbrooke Station so i ask the driver why it has it started to do this ? he informs me its road works in lewisham.


SOOOOOO there route to get back onto their time table is ? going into Blackheath round the one way system back to Shootershill road and over the Sun in sands round about.

1) Why not actually go to Kidbrooke station where there is the huge car park turning area.Terminate and then get back on the actual route ?
2) Terminate the stop before Sun in sands and go round the round about back on the route.
3)Go miles out your way, not on your route ,through a village one way system , still not on your route.

then the 89 terminated before Blackheath station FFS working in London is such fun !

Didnt see it yesterday but there was a wreath at Londonbridge from London Underground re 7/7 which said RIP 52 customers.

You wouldn't believe the journey I had yesterday - 3 & 1/2 hours to get from New Eltham to Canary Wharf.
EVERYTHING that could possibly go wrong actually did!

yesterday watched a bus driver go down Mark lane in the City only to find he had gone wrong way..big time only realised when he saw Fenchurch Station Bridge.....had to reverse back all the way back up a one way road ...the wrong way... took him ages.....all to the amusement of drinkers outside the Hung Drawn and Quarted who cheered like when goalkeeper has a kick evertime he tried the 21 point turn....he was sweating a good un...

GH, fun and games at London Bridge too. Top of Shoreditch closed so 149's and 48's re-routed. About 20 empty buses parked up outside my office at 7am.
Just to add to it all, the 6.06 from Eltham cancelled again in the space of a week with NO explanation.
Bring on my holiday!
