    Yorkshire have been expelled from this season's Twenty20 Cup for fielding an ineligible player.

    Azeem Rafiq, 17, played in two group matches but was not registered and did not have a British passport.

    Yorkshire's quarter-final opponents Durham will now face Nottinghamshire for a place in the Twenty20 semis.

    Yorkshire have a right of appeal, and the county's board will meet on Friday to discuss whether or not to pursue the matter any further.
