Legends Game on Saturday

For anyone who cares - and I suspect that's not very many - about the legends game (1.45 ko) before our match on Saturday, the organiser's attempts to get Paul Gasgoine to play failed, so no Gazza :(

Also, no John Robinson (even though he played in the same game last year) or Garry Nelson. Nothing much to interest us at all to be honest, all just ex-Brighton (Steve Foster, Dave Beasant & Neville Southall the 'biggest' names) plus a few actors from Dream Team, Hollyoaks, EastEnders etc.

In what appears to be an error of judgement, they've got actor Danny Dyer to play. Several Brighton fans have said they're boycotting the game as a result as Mr Dyer (West Ham fan who appears in loads of football hooligan films) is widely regarded as a tosspot! Oops.

I cant stand Dyer biggest tosser i've ever seen yet acts at being a hard man !!!! I would love to see him caught up in some real violence ...... Now that would make good telly

Right Said Fred aren't playing. I think that was just a gay joke directed at Brighton. Somewhat misplaced as we probably have as many gay fans as they do (the guys who have organised next month's Gay World Cup are Charlton fans!).

Why the hell do people keep saying Pride's on this weekend? NO IT ISN'T. It's the following Saturday (August 2nd). Don't worry, your bottoms will be quite safe if you come down this weekend. There's nothing on Saturday but Brighton v Charlton.

Don't worry about that. They pretend it goes on for a week to try to trick gay tourists into coming down (with their money) for the whole week. The actual festival thing is on Saturday 2nd, and nothing really kicks off until the Thursday before. They won't even have started putting the rainbow flags up this weekend (everywhere - even the most anti-gay pubs - puts them flags up over the actual weekend, such is the amount of money the visiting gays spend!).
