Please be aware that ‘phishing’ e-mails which claim to be from HM Revenue & Customs Tax (HMRC) informing you of a tax refund you are entitled to are fakes.
HMRC never contact people about tax refunds by e-mail. If you receive one of these emails, do not reply to it or click on the link.
