How many of you know that Tracks of my Tears was actually the B side...I think I'm right in saying Going to A Go-Go was the A side and as such was never in the charts.Strange but true.
I've got it stored away at home in my spare garage somewhere.

Never heard that before, It was certainly from the album Going to a go go, but I always thought it was released as a single in it's own right and I'm sure I've got it somewhere in the loft, Fork in the road was the B side.

I heard that the secretary at Motown UK who was in charge of the Smokey fan club loved the track so much she persuaded Tamla to release it as a single but I may be mixing up with another Smokey song.

I always thought that story was attributed to 'Tears of a Clown', but you may be right. Hope whoever she was, she got a decent reward for it, which ever track it was.
