I can't quote from one page of a thread to another

I don't seem to be able to quote from any other page other than the page that the last comment is on.
Is this just me? Or do other users have the same problem?

Can't be done with any browser I've used to date - IE, Firefox, Opera (my preferred browser for the site). There is a work around, but it takes ages and involves quoting from somebody else, changing the user name and then coping in the text from the previous page. I've done it a few times but it's a pain........Unless someone knows differently.....?

Hi Bing, that's exactly what I do if I can be bothered - but frequently I just give up, because it's fiddly.
I end up getting some proper work done instead ......(!)

How about open the next page in a new explorer tab...Click quote, copy & paste the code then put in your message?
