Premier League - do you really want to be in it

Nothing but a place for mercenary footballers who don't give two f**** about clubs fans anybody but themselves , fair enough some might say.

Exceptions of the likes of Giggs, Lampard ,gerrard etc BUT they, Lamps especially, getting mega wages 150 k a week so no brainer to stay "loyal" so to speak.

Robinho desperate to join chelsea ends up at Man CITY

If we went up we'd do a Derby in our current situation and quite frankly I'd rather not bother, the place stinks to high heaven. Ferguson slags Madrid for tapping ronaldo and then does exactly what he moaned about with Berbatov allegedly.

So they throw in Frazer campbell as a sweetner to shut spurs up.

Rant over.

UP THE ADDICKS.

  • it must have been good though to be a citeh fan last nite though
  • Although I want my team to compete at the highest level, I'm quite happy with being away from the premier league. I can see a few more cases like Leeds happening when the bubble bursts and perhaps a club going under as well. It's a shame when teams who can reach 5th place like Everton and Spurs still loose their best players to top 4, especially when that player is really needed, to say it's like a mini league is an understatement. There is no way we could win the premiership without an investor and that is not something I personally want.

As a fan I would prefer to go to the likes of Forest for £25 than spend £45 for a London Derby. A lot of the premiership clubs are packed with day trippers which results in a rather flat atmosphere. I watched the Chelsea V Spurs game on Sunday and Chelsea's goal was celebrated with a lot of applause, that ground used to be rocking after a goal, especially against their arch-rival.
  • suprised no-one has mentioned the quality of football being watched though....

Guess my answer is yes- but some premeirship "fans" really are crap and don't help...
