SUPERKENT on Sky, 13th Sept.2009.

Sky have announced that Superkents game against Essex next Saturday will be the live game on tv.
This game will probably decide if Superkent will play the last season of the Pro40 trophy in the top or the 2nd division.So, Charlton or Kent ?

Oh , by the way Slurrey are 10-1 off 7 overs at canterbury.
No suprise there.

    Next Saturday , canterbury.
    If we go up will play the last PRO40 season , next year , in division 1.

    Just realised, if Yorkshire fail to win tomorrow then the Saturday game is the title decider. Kent can't finish lower than 3rd anyway so at worst we will be in the play offs. However, in answer to your question I will be at The Valley, revved.

    IF we beat Lancs (on this pitch who knows) we could well go into this match needing awin for the Championship (before Carl says it , I know we'll probably be runners-up !!).

    UPDATE ;

    Lancs 109-3 (still 17 behind).

    Notts 191-2 at the Oval.

    119-3 Lancs;

    What is it with bloody extras and SUPERKENT ?
    32 (out of 107) in Lancs 1st innings and 20 already in the 2nd.
    Like to see the scorecards over season ; I'd bet anything we've given more runs away than any other county.

    Lancs basically 8-3.

    I'll feel happier if they get Stuart Law out.

    He is capable of turning it their way. We don't want to chase much more than 100 on a dodgy track.

    Three wickets to go and 133 runs ahead. it seems that the pitch was a little damp on day one, hopefully it'll be dried out for tomorrow and Kent can knock the required runs off.
