[cite]Posted By: ValleyGary[/cite]feel a bit sorry for the geezer out of Hero's, never played football in his life......lets chuck him on infront of 70,000 and millions at home.
For entertainment, I'd say that was one of the best games of football I've seen in a long while! Great to see 'soccer' virgin Woody win it from the spot.
Nice to see a fun game of football played in the right spirit with a decent cause behind it and some surprising quality amongst the celebrity players! Kudos to all and Itv too.
Sure many of the celebs have played at an ok level and could have perhaps had decent careers. Appararntly Olly Murs and Ralf Little have played Ryman league and Jonathan Wilkes, Ben Shepherd aswell looked like they could play a bit.
Normally hate all the celeb stuff but it was for a really good cause and was very entertaining.
That tackle on Zidane was world class and I bet Ben Shepard will have it as his screen saver. Was a fantastic save by theakston when he tipped the penalty over the bar.
Fairytale stuff with woody harrelson scoring the winner and apparently he had been going to Battersea park every day last week and joining in random peoples kickabouts for extra training.
Only downside of the evening for me was Clive Tyldsley being Clive Tyldsley but you cant have it all.

Was an entertaining match, and I'm glad Unicef raised £2 million or whatever it was, but is it really that selfless for the celebrities to be involved in this when you get the reward of playing for England against some of the greatest players in history at Old Trafford?
Fulfilling any football fan's dream, with the PR effect from having a bit of charity thrown in......the celebrities must have loved it!

I watched the game thought it was really good and played in a good old fashioned style. I would have loved to have made a donation but just felt they didn't show the phone or txt number enough times, or in a bigger front just as someone was attacking. As for olando bloom all I could hear was yo ho ho and a bottle of rum whenever he gave out the details... ;-)
The only thing I agreed with with corden on was that some people were taking it way to seriously.. jonathan wilkes was prime example of that.
As for the ex's henrik stills looks like he get 20 or 30 a season..

And he tries to take a corner with a throw.
that was quality!
It would be nice to watch it FOR ONE DAY without his total smuggness popping up on my tv.
How has he become the people's champion of football? The fella has clearly never played football in his life! And is extremely unfunny.
His chins remind me of the old East Terrace.
He's like the obese Lovejoy.

Win-win situation then. Nothing wrong with that.
