Golf one thing I don't get - WHY

Because if you did n't wear one whilst driving etc the club would fly out of your hand , you don't swing the club in the same manner when you are putting .

It's all about grip with the club and the force used for a full swing, something you dont do with a putter.

try playing without the glove and you get a sore hand so it must be the way you grip the club and it moves in your hand as you swing..
