London property developer Tony Jimenez was on Newcastle's board, and was the one trying to arrange the Zabeel takeover up there. Also on the geordie board is Jeff Vetere, who used to be our main international scout, and was beind us getting players like El Kak etc

A link, or looking for something that's not there ? Expect Jimenez to be named on our board if it goes through ??

    Coincidences but good ones AFKA.

    Jimenez quit earlier in the week didn't he so could well be he was told to to come here

    Some of the Toon also think Jimenez is behind it, they are not happy that he may have been working on this while he was there - I have my doubts though, surely he would be in breach of contract ... or maybe he doesn't care

    An ex coach of ours, Mick Browne, is doing good work in the UAE apparently.

    Perhaps there is a link there somehow.
