One assumes we are contracted to Cabrini and are tied to that unless one or the other of us "does an Allsports,Llanera or Fads."

What if the Arabs buy out their contract?
  • i thought they only had signed a one year deal with an option to extend, so that should leave it open...

Its a one year contract, with an option to extend, I assume on both sides.

    Yes that is a possibility.

My point though is that we are committed to Cabrini and therefore to change that compensation would be payable.

And all this puts the club in a much stronger bargaining position for the next deal IMHO

I doubt it will make much difference shirt sponsorship-wise. We may be able to drive a harder bargain but unless we get promoted our profile won't raise that much even with super-rich backers.

One thought is that the club weren't keen on betting or drink related sponsors, where the new owners probably won't have suck quibbles. Foxy Bingo on our shirts next season?
