Unsurprisingly west ham have refused to pay Curbs any compensation, with Curbs claiming constructive dismissal. West ham will keep this going as long as possible, if they do get stung by Sheff U then they will not have any money for Curbs, even if an award is given against them.

Curbs would have checked with the LMA before walking re his position re compensation, he'll get weighed out no doubt how much though I think it'll get negotiated down a bit from the remaining term of his contract which is what most of them seem to get nowadays.
