i looked at it for my son, looks amazing 70 notes for a 'specail' day would be worth it compared to the thousands it cost to go to lapland, i bet the kids would love it and its in kent so thats ok.
We looked at taking our kids but it seemed a lot of money for what it was and some of the reviews of it from the previous year did not fill me with confidence that it would be good value.
If you can afford to spend that on a four hour trip I'd recommend that you cash in everything to do the real thing. Go and see the real Lapland, it will take your breath away.
I know that for most people it's too expensive, especially in the current climate but if anyone is a little flushed at the moment this is absolutely fabulous. Husky rides, reindeer rides, snowmobiles and loads more. I know it sounds trite, but it really is the trip of a lifetime.
Two bits of advice if you do get the chance to go:
1. Choose a cabin rather than the hotel, you get your own roaring log fire and your own sauna; the coaches to the hotel for meals are all good as well.
2. Go to a place that's quite far north, not just 5 minutes into the Arctic circle. I'm told that some of the older, more Southerly, resorts are too busy and too commercialised. I can personally recommend Hetta (Enontikio).
Stigs verdict: Don't go on a summer holiday next year, don't renew your season ticket, forget about Sky HD and trade down your car for an old banger. Whatever it takes do this, you'll never regret it.
