Sorry it was all my fault

edited November 2008 in General Charlton
You may be blaming Weaver for yesterday's defeat, but I hold my hands up and admit that it was down to me.

I decided not to listen to what was going on and do a bit of tidying up the garden for good luck.

It was working so well as Covered End Junior shouted out that we had equalised and then taken the lead.

I decided that I'd have to stay out there until full time, even though I'd had enough by the time that we'd taken the lead.

Anyway, I persevered for another 30 minutes but had nothing left to do and by now I was getting cold and fed up and it was so dark I couldn't see in any case.

Reluctantly I decided to come indoors knowing the consequences. I just managed to take off my 2nd trainer before they equalised and still hadn't time to even sit down before they took the lead.

I was so angry with myself, why was I so selfish? I should have just suffered the cold and dark for another 40 minutes.

  • Now it all makes sense.
  • No it’s my fault covered end told me not to text friends saying that we were winning as it’s bad luck but I just couldn’t help myself sorry guys.
  • i turned on ssn and we were 2-1 up, 5 mins later and it all changed, that may of helped, too!
  • I'm blaming my missus, she rang me just after half time from shopping in Lakeside and also asked how we were getting on. I told her we were winning 2-1 and said you had better not put the 'bock' on us. Within five minutes we losing 3-2. So I totally blame her!
