As i said the other day, i see little point in bring in a loan if he is not seen as someone who will go straight into the first team.

So will he start ? Who will he replace ?

According to the poll on the OS...yes.....personally...havent a clue anymore, cant see the point of speculating where Pardew's mind is involved.

I'd be amazed if Pards changed the lineup unnecessarily after outr last 2 performances

I would suspect that Pards' intention will be to bring him on with half an hour to play, or at half time if we are losing to nil.

I hope we play 4-4-2 and the boy gets a start with Gray.

That assumes that team selection is rational. : - 0

Who knows? I'd expect him to be on the bench

Depends whether Gray is going to play? Says that he hasn't trained all week because of his family problems.

Surely, the only question should be ....... who links up with Gray.

Pardew's love child seems to be benched, Dicko won't start because it's written in his contract, Izzy needs a loan club, Toddy's tired and Fleet is on holiday at the seaside.

So Waggy the 3rd to start with Gray.

I'm going with that - he's got to start, otherwise why bring him in?
2 debut goals and a first win in 8!
    CUUUUUUUUUM on UUUUUUUU REEEEEEEEEEEEEEDS !!!
  • I would like to think the kid will start, i can see no point in bringing the lad down for a month just to keep the bench warm, as well as i would love to hear Desperate DAn on the phone to Kilroy Pardew saturday night if he doesnt play him

We should play him coz he can't be any worse than the strikers we have at the moment. Whether he does well is another matter and will depend on the quality of service that he gets from the midfield. Whatever happens, let's not pan him. Let's get behind him.
  • Pardew has a few dilemnas for tomorrow:-

    1) Does he change from 4-5-1 that has given him improved performances away?
    2) Does he bring in the new boy in front of his other more experienced forwards?
    3) Does he start Racon for Holland? (Or indeed Fortune for Primus)

Personally the only change I'd make is number 3, possibly changing a wide man for a forward if 4-5-1 isn't working at home

Would doubt if racon and fortune are fully fit after one reserve run out but they maybe.

Yes, interesting choices on 4-5-1 (which he played for a whole season at R******) and I would suggest Shelvey or Holland

he'll get himself sent off, too indisciplined but he would certainly be on the bench

He's in for Varns who knocks sam out to the bench...

His chances of starting are improving as I've just read on the O/S that Gray hasn't trained all week due to being Oop North with his personal issue.
