Following on from Henry's suggestion in the "Spot The Grim Reaper" thread, any suggestion for appropriate songs to play over the tannoy on Monday? Black Humour appreciated, although anyone suggesting D:Ream will not be considered amusing.

Not sure about before & after but Sonic Youth's 'Death Valley 69.' springs to mind.

Roy Orbison's It's Over would be premature.

So let's be optimistic and go for Obama's theme songs : the Pointer Sisters sassing their way through Yes We Can Can and Sam Cooke singing A Change Is Gonna Come...

Hmm, the Pointer Sisters. Would playing "I'm So Excited" be considered taking the piss a bit too much?

Nah, Ali, we probably need that kind of gallows humour at the moment. The pain in the voice of 'Big O' seems fitting too...
Ok, 'Whole lotta love' to start game & 'Up the Junction' at the end?
