[cite]Posted By: Ledge[/cite]I think we will win every game
I don't - but I believe we'll garner enough wins and draws to make ourselves safe towards the end of the season.
But we've really made a rod for our own backs, here - Sheff Weds, Bristol City, Burnley, Barnsley, Sheff Utd, Southampton, Coventry - these are the teams we'd have expected to beat.
Crikey, if we can't pick up more points at home against that motley lot.........(!)
Let's face it, if we had just grabbed a couple of wins and a few more draws here, we'd be comfortably mid-table by now.
We know we're crap and we've played crap. But we've not had the breaks that opponents have had - surely, they even out over the course of a season, so we're due a wonder strike, a bundled goal and a deflection?
Our team problems are mainly psychological, and maybe thats all that's needed - and we get 3 precious points, however we've muddled through to get them.
After all we've seen time and again this season our opponents do just that.
I'm not there which is a good start, its on Sky & the players are gonna be well up for it. I predict a 3-1 win for the rip roaring goal scoring Addicks!
COOOOOOOOOOOME ON YOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU REDSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tricky mate, if parky stays we will be down by march, i just cant see where or how we will win. every team must be wetting themselfs with exitment to play us, literally its a guarenteed 3 points. we have not one since october so why now will we suddenly become good? aint gona happen peeps unless miracles do happen and it is the time for miracles.

This form has continued over form the second half of last season. Since January we have been awful week after week bar a few games. If we was going to get a break I think it would have come by now :-(
If Varney is bloody terrible, there isn't a word to describe McLeod.
Varney showed last season he can be a useful player, get a few goals but not 20+. McLeod, although he has played less, all McLeod has shown is he has pace.
I never think we're going to win, ever. I think the last time I did was that Swindon game where the ball bounced off Deano and rolled into the goal, and I've learned my lesson now.
I always think that we are going to win every game that we play regardless of who we are playing. It has hit me hard recently all this being mindlessly optimistic. The highs are great but the lows are pretty low. 2-0 down at half time & booed off by the silly booers. Early goal by Hudson in the second half, Gray penalty for 2-2 then a Bailey 35 yard screamer in stoppage time 3-2 and I drop my flask (it's okay it's an unbreakable one) & my hot tea goes everywhere.
Read today that Derby could sack Paul Jewell if we beat them tomorrow, although I think that's as much to do with problems within the squad as the shame and embarrassment that will be brought upon them by managing to lose to us.

The performance might be better though. ;-)
This run simply can't go on for much longer can it?!

To be fair, its 1-1 at the moment. :-)
Just like the old days.
