Luke Varney - 1m ?

on that performance he's worth about a quid. I was always a Varney fan but I thought he was awful for them tonight. Whoever managed to squeeze a million out of them did a really good job.

    Derby looked like we have most of the season, silly mistakes and struggling to create good chances. Don't think Varney had a shot at goal all night, apart from challenging for a header.

    And watching Powell last night, glad he signed for them, should have been off for 2 yellows, little digs and kicks, shoves etc off the ball caught by SKY, liability and looked lost.

    Agreed, I mean, how bad would our defence be with HIM in it? Thank God Derby outbid us for him, he reminded me of me in my last couple of years playing centre-half and being so short of pace that my only options were to kick, nudge, shove, trip or barge the opposing striker.
