It was like The Valley I love in my heart.

The crowd were singing, and behind the team.

As it should be really. But credit where it's due!

Thanks Oggy....I did sing Red Army on a couple of occasions. It must have made all the difference! ;o)

Yep, really enjoyed last night - except for the last 5 mins. well done the crowd and the team! fair play to the team for going at em, and extra special well done to the team and crowd for starting encouraging so soon after the penalty went in! moany bloke behind us left as they scored the penalty so we had a relatively moan free 2nd half!
  • Sounded fantastic on the box too - credit to everyone. As Og said, it sounded like The Valley I always loved.
  • Can hardly talk today i was singing so loud! was a great feeling to have the ground buzzing again.

Watching it on TV, was devestated by the late equaliser, but thoroughly heartened to hear the fans in full voice after the final whistle, thats the kind of support we need.

I have been very critical of the home support on here recently but I will quite happily hold my hands up and say last night was excellent. I too am as hoarse as anything, Keep losing my voice when speaking for any longer than 5 seconds!

I agree the crowd was fantastic, so pleased to have been there last night. I did not hear the misery guts behind me boo once!
  • watched it on mute in the pub... hope it was as loud and encouraging as people are describing on here

  • They should postpone kick off by 15mins every game.
It allowed just enough time for a bonus extra pint, therefore improving the atmosphere all round!

Indeed, seeing Santa in the superstore gave me hope after their penalty!
