Regarding the comments about Varney and Curbs, there was a very broad consensus in 2006 that it was time for Curbs to go - and to my knowledge it included Curbs, directors and senior staff, as well as a large number of fans. That is why it was handled so smoothly.
The idea that Curbs left because he fell out with Varney is a complete fabrication as far as I'm concerned.0 -
