  • It's not marmite, you either love it, or have no soul, no sense of adventure and no imagination.
  • you either love it or you're over the age of ten
  • I don't care who it is as long as he can save us from relegation.

Same reason as if it was a woman, we'd probably say the first woman doctor, or if he was disabled we'd probably say the first disabled doctor zzzzzzzzzzzzz
  • And if his/her name was doctor we would say the first doctor doctor.

But Viv Anderson is always reffered to as 1st Black player for England, Obama 1st Black President. It is important to note these worthy achievments.

Any way it is Matt Smith who is white and has a very strange shaped head.

  • Yep, that's him. How many pixels on your phone Rothko?
  • I think that Matt Smith looks very much like a young Bill Nighy. Apparently he played for both Leicester City's and Nottingham Forest's youth side before an injury took him away from football and into acting!

As a huge Dr. Who fan I must say I am looking forward to seeing him in action....Very Goth looking and very Eccentric Englishman.

    What Algarve said.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly.

    Morning P;
Snowing here in Sunny Sydenham !

Off subject, did you (or anyone) watch the new ITV series "Demons" on Saturday ?
Quite good, but a little 2 many similarities of the early "Buffy" series.
Still, "Gene Hunt" can do little wrong in my opinion.

I watched it, thought it was OK, can only get better IMO.
  • I can usually watch any old rubbish but thought it was crap !
  • Yes we watched it, quite enjoyed it too. Good monsters, and as you say, DCI Hunt was on form. As was Gareth as the evil Teddy Boy...

Whats with the nose/beak thing, weird.
  • BBC got no money, so they have opted for the cheap option and asked Parky to do a dual role.

Then the new time lord will go back in time to when we just got relegated from the prem and change all our crap transfer dealings from then so we will get promoted this year instead of relegated.

In fact it must be working already the league table shows us top..... Whoops no sorry I had the paper upside down.

No worries though the doctor will sort it once he can work out how to open the door of the police box.
  • Does Parky have a sonic screwdriver?

    or a TARDIS

Team. Are. Rubbish. Dont. Inject. Style
  • He looks like the Elephant man!!
  • I'm no judge of man-loveliness but if women fall for mr Potato Head. I have hope
