    Yeah, come on Jonjo.
  • About time too. Good luck Jonjo. Here's hoping you show Parky that you should have been in the team a long time ago.

good luck jonjo - good to see him get another start. hope he makes you proud uncle! i'm sure he will.
  • Go for it Jonjo!!

    Remember it’s nearly ‘Hammer’ time...

    (for those Canaries of course).

That should 'Spur' you on to a good performance...

Did you see what I did there??

    ;-)

The best thing is, there should be absolutely no pressure on this game, so he can really go out and enjoy it.

    :-)

Will be good to see him 'gunning' for success. Don't want any 'cottaging' though!
  • Think the player most likely to attract a bit of 'cottaging' is on the lemsip today....allegedly....

Ha ha ..... that's rich coming from Sailor Brown eye, LMAO!

    ;o)
  • Oggy,

Cottaging - the process by which scouts representing Fulham FC, otherwise known as the Cottagers, come to assess aforesaid player...

I'm hurt by your unseemly innuendo!!!!

I guess that is typical of a man who masquerades as a jelly fish... ;-)

Come on, Jonjo! And good luck to Dickson , too, and any of the other non-regulars who get an outing. A few quality performances today from JJ et al and then there's some real pressure for places in the starting line-up v Forest next week.

As for Ambrose, perhaps it's not lemsip he's on. May be he's under sedation after a total nervous breakdown at having to come back to SE7 and discovering who the new manager is !!!
  • good luck jonjo. best priced 20/1 for 1st goal, though basey e/w @ 33/1 also looks tempting.
  • back on to Shelvey for a sec...

Does anyone think he'll sign a pro deal with us?

I don't think so and I'll be very pleasantly surprised if he does. The kid's a West Ham fan is he not? I know Josh Wright is but he's now more likely to end up at Dagenham and Redbridge than at the Boleyn Ground.

Anyway, I'm sure Uncle will be back later on to reassure us all - hopefully...!!

    Hi Uncle,

I see Jonjo today was wearing the same shirt you wore for our Charlton Life v Ipswich match.

Nice of you to lend it to him.

    ;o)
  • Well done Jonjo, first of many goals I hope and hopefully they'll be in a charlton shirt.

I hope this goal hasn't put him in the shop window.

    Jonjo is 16. . . .

He has more ability and flair *now* than nigh on all our current team.

    Imagine what he's going to do when he's 19,20 . . . . somewhere else :o(

And as such, we have to find a place for him in the team ... he has the ability to score a goal (as we've seen) and set them up too ... centre mid next week, next to Holland

Played brilliant since he is only 16 shown that we have missed a play maker since Chappel and Murray sold one last Jan.

Would of liked Josh Wright to of come on to replace him.

In Parkinsons press conference he said Jonjo was an asset I wonder how he meant it. Asset to our team as in playing for us for the rest of the season or asset in money if he is sold by the board.

Absolutely proud of you today Jonjo. I know you'll read this so just wanted you to know. Its no wonder you were knackered after an hour the amount of running and closing down you done in the first half was excellent and actually showed older more expeienced players how it should be done. Dont worry about fading a bit you just need to get match fit but in order to do that you need to play matches. You just keep doing what you did today and you wont go far wrong.... Well done we are all so proud
