I think most people would have wanted Billy Davies to take over but he didn't do himself any favours when offered the job after Curbs left he let us down. Given that history he was never going to come here when Murray etc were still around. Maybe Murray should have swallowed his pride, but even if he had I doubt the club would eve have been able to totally trust him. So his replacing Pardew was a total non-starter.0 -

do you reckon that for 90 minutes while the game is on, we could stop moaning about who is in charge and who isn't?! Plenty of time for that if they beat usnext saturday, as for now lets just try and enjoy the second half because although its in the FA cup and only half time, we're winning ffs so we might as well try and enjoy it!0

No reason why we can't swap positions with Forest by then.
