Given our left back problem, I think we should sign Gillinghams Nutter, not that Iknow if he is any good, I just like the idea of Charlton having a nutter on the field.

On radio 5 the old turnip head said it will cause problems if King plays a quick pass to Nutter

A serious suggestion, to add some solidity to our team (he also would probably gladly sign for us and he would be cheap) Chris Perry.

Poor old Chris Perry, what a dilemma - stay at Southampton and get relegated or move to Charlton and get relegated.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire. lol

Sometimes you just need a lucky break!

I agree with cfgs, Perry would be most welcome (didn't like the fact that we got rid of him in the first place)

I'm pretty sure we could get him back on loan so they can trim their wage bill.

In all honesty we've seen that changing the team hasn't really changed things so maybe the only thing would be a change of management but we know that aint gonna happen now .
  • Perry would be a good call, strengthening our team and weakening one of our closest opponents.

The two Gillingham players we should seriously look at signing weren't playing today. Although Nutter is a consistent performer a better defensive choice would be Gary Richards- a good solid old fashioned no-nonsense centre back- bruisingin the challenge and gets his share of goals with his head from corners etc. The other is their former captain Andrew Crofts who is available and is on loan at Peterborough- a Welsh international central midfielder in the same vein as Bryan Robson- Great in both boxes and also gets a fair share of goals and has championship experience- Also we should go for a former Gills player- Danny Jackman, a quick witted left back who can cross with devastating accuracy- Also has championship experience and was at Aston Villa, now at Northampton. The season before last he scored Gills goal of the seaon, last season was Northampton's player of the year and is currently their second top goal scorer. He is only small mind you but is very, very mobile and has quick feet.
  • I know who I'd play out of Perry & Hudson.

In the light of recent revelations anybody who can get our Wages Turnover ratio to more sensible levels.

100% is suicidal 60% is reasonable.

Who will come to us? We're a sinking ship, so I doubt anyone decent will be joining, unless we pay stupid wages like we do for most of the current squad
