Its official Ladies and Gentlemen...........................................SPRING is here, and officially arrived at 19.59 approx, on tuesday 27th january, the occassion was greeted by an eruption of gratuatus cheerirng and applause from 3 sides of The Valley, while a dark cloud descended over The Jimmy Seed stand which at first appeared to eclipse the the whole area, an hour or so later an orange glow rose in the west stand but disappeared from the area almost imediately as Simon Jordon left The Valley dispelling hopes the summer had arrived early. So for at least four days or so the gloom lifted over The Valley and "The mist rolled in from the Thames" .................And we know a song about that, dont we boys and girls?
