I couldn't believe how poor a side Brum were when they came down to us. My abiding memory of that match was the lone Birmingham fan singing "..you must admit you're shit" at the top of Floyd Road just before he caught the train. I wondered if he'd actually watched the same game I had, Birmingham were rubbish.
Boro are hardly renowned for great strikers: Alalidiare, Alves etc! Clubs just can't resist giving him another chance, they must think "he's quick, strong and decent in the air, surely he'll score goals in this league". Yet he rarely does, at least not consistently. Really should be more useful than he is.
