For the oldies but if you can remember the teleprinter that used to shw the final scores on TV sports programs did you ever watch it and when CAFCs result came in and we had lost, still watch the full results just in case it was wrong ?

    yea, desperately clutching at straws, hoping it'd say ' correction ... Derby 1 Charlton 6(SIX)' ! and not the other way round

    funny as I was thinking that today as the results were coming in.

    I remembered the other day that after the results came in on grandstand they used to do a summary of what had happened that day while bruce hornsby and the range played in the background
