This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end

raindrops keep falling on my head
but that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
crying's not for me, cos
i'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining
but there's one thing I know
the blues they send to meet me won't defeat me
it won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me0 -

Curbs quoted in the press this morning:
“It hurts. It’s devastating. But everyone moves on and things change. I’m no longer the manager. Charlton have a big job on their hands but it can be done and everyone has to believe that. I can’t get my head around the fact that I only left 2½ years ago when we were a Premier League side and comfortable there. When I left they were about to appoint a new manager, spend some money and try to strengthen the squad. Lots of people worked hard to get the club where they were and I can’t quite believe where they are now.”0 -
...and if a double-decker bus
crashes into us
to die by your side
is such a heavenly way to die...0 -

oh well, for those of us who have been around for a while, this is nothing new, so just to get some positivity going:
We’ve been broken down
to the lowest turn
Bein' on the bottom line
sure aint no fun
The only way is up, baby
for you and me now
The only way is up, baby
for you and me now
(hold on) hold on
(hold on) hold on
Hey
(hold on) hold on
(hold on) won’t be long,
No no no0 -
NOW
Send back the loans. They're hardly helping us win, let OUR players play. We should only be playing a loan player if he's set to sign at the end of the season, no other reason.
Rebuild. Parky should be looking at who we're offloading and who we're keeping. Play those that will be here next season, get them fighting and grafting cos god they're gonna have to next season.
NO more talk about miracles or staying up Parky. Accept we need to rebuild and prepare for next season, start taking the necessary steps now and and get an extra couple of months on the other clubs who'll be going down with us.0 -
Completey agree, the continual 'grasping at straws' with all the loan signings in the last 18months (anyone know just how many there have been?) has been a serious reason for the destablisation of the form we've been searching for...start afresh and build for next season now![cite]Posted By: craigcafc[/cite]NOW

In the end multiple loans are bound to lead to destabilisation - couldn't agree more.0

Been saying it for weeks. If there is a serious chance any could stay then wait but get shot of all the others.0

It''s not a recent quote - at least a month old or even a bit older.0 -
