Just found out its a pal of mine Anthony Shore, does the Lord Hood in Greenwich regularly, not the image of Elvis, but boy oh boy, does he have the voice, vocally for me, the best I have heard in tribute acts.
[cite]Posted By: WSS[/cite]There was an Elvis at the wedding I was at on Sunday.
Apparently he has performed for Becks/Elton John in the past and actually wears one of Elvis' old white jumpsuits.
He was very very good but whether the above is true is another matter.
Exactly, dont believe he wears an original, there is no way, if he owned one, he would wear it for stage, too valuable, although there are a few companies that do very good replicas for ETA's (Elvis Tribute Artists)
Theres bloke down my chip shop thinks hes elvis...

That will be Lee Jackson, bloke I am doing the show with Saturday, lives locally, was the other guy Asian?
A guy I used to work with, does a lot of stuff for the Essex branch of the Elvis Appreciation Society (or something like that), helps edit and writes their quarterly magazine. Are you involved in anything like that DA9 as you seem to be quite a fan?

Sounds liek Elvis, The Man And The Music Magazine, I subscribe to it, but not involved, member of a couple of clubs where I get the newsletters etc.
Has his hair done by a guy called mother kutter in Carnaby street, specialises in 50's styles, Lee only ever uses products that Elvis used on his hair (Royal Crown/Rose oil etc), does it down to a tee, but gets paid well for it as well.
Went to my nephew's wedding last year in Sheffield and 'Elvis' came from Dartford! Seems he was supposed to go to an Elvis gathering in Southampton but did this gig instead. Started off with not the best rendition of 'That's All Right' but got progressively better as things went on so if you know who it might be DA tell him we enjoyed the show immensely! Thanks.

About as likely as Micheal Jackson appearing in the flesh ;-)
I got my tickets today. I went 5 or 6 years ago. It is unbelievable. They go on general sale on Friday, I urge any true fan of Rock 'n Roll to go.
Saw it at the London Arena in 2000, and Memphis in 2002, awesome show, with his original band, and how they sync the video is incredible.
